Barossa Valley Wine Company is proud to announce our partnership with Australian celebrity chef, author and TV show host, Justine Schofield. Known for her sassy enthusiasm and touch of French flair, Justine is the host of the popular daytime cooking show ‘Everyday Gourmet’ which is now in its 12th season and has filmed over 1,000 episodes.

A former contestant on the first-ever series of Masterchef in 2009, Justine has since built a successful career in the Australian food and media industry and is a familiar, well-respected and much-loved household name.

Commenting on the partnership, Barossa Valley Wine Company winemaker, Roxanne Kloppers said: “Justine brings an infectious energy to everything she does and as one of Australia’s most recognisable culinary faces, she is a wonderful brand ambassador for Barossa Valley Wine Company.”

Roxanne added: “The Barossa is a huge melting pot of food, wine and cultural sharing. Everyday Gourmet’s premise of inspiring you to cook and enjoy food with your family and friends, aligns perfectly with Barossa Valley Wine Company’s ethos of celebrating life’s special moments with a beautiful bottle of wine.”

Barossa Valley Wine Company will also be the exclusive red wine sponsor for the current season of Everyday Gourmet. Upcoming episodes of the show, due to air in August, were filmed at our home, The Farms vineyard - a stunning backdrop to show off the Barossa Valley’s iconic scenery. On her visit to The Farms, Justine Schofield said: “I love, love, love a full-bodied Aussie Shiraz, so it was amazing to have the opportunity to spend some time at The Farms vineyard.

It was harvest season when I went and it was fantastic to see how it all happens, how the community comes together, and how they really are passionate about their wine, and their region.” “Being there with Roxanne to understand the winemaking process, and then developing recipes to match the wines was an absolute thrill for me,” she added.

As part of the ambassadorship, Justine has developed a special set of recipes to match perfectly with Barossa Valley Wine Company wines. They include a mix of both classic and contemporary dishes for entertaining across different occasions. Everyday Gourmet will air from June 2022 on Channel 10 in Australia, from 4pm Monday to Friday, spanning 18 weeks and 90 episodes. Barossa Valley Wine Company will feature in seven episodes across the series from mid-August through to the end of September. The scenes filmed at the Farms Vineyard with Roxanne and Justine will also feature in a standalone series on SBS, ‘Everyday Barossa’, a foodie and travel series set in the Barossa that will air in early 2023.
