Stockyard Shiraz Receives 96 Points

Barossa Valley Wine Company is excited to announce our Stockyard Shiraz received 96 points

16 Aug 2022

Winestate Magazine has released its latest wave of tasting results and BVWC's 2020 Stockyard Shiraz received an impressive 96 points!

The wines were tasted blind and judged by the expert wine tasting panel. With more than 10,000 wines tasted per annum, Winestate is one of the biggest wine judging forums in Australia. The results are not easily achieved so if a wine does get awarded a higher score it must have earned that in the eyes (or palate of) the tasting panel.

Winestate Magazine's primarily focus is on the Australian reader and has a circulation base of 25,000 with an estimated readership of over 100,000. The publication has been Australia's definitive wine buying guide since 1978. Achieving 96 points is a testament to our team and shows the strength and quality of our portfolio. Stockyard Shiraz showcases the very best of the region. This wine is big and bold yet still rich and silky. “It's one of my personal favorites” said Holly Tagima, BVWC Brand Manager.
